While your primary focus will be keeping our refrigeration units and heating units running, you will also be a key part of our trailer maintenance team.Shift will be on our weekday night shift, Monday to Thursday, 2100-0730.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair components on refrigeration and heating units, including compressors, motors, controls, and evaporators.Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, test for leaks, and calibrate systems to ensure optimal performance.System Charging: Safely handle, recover, and recharge systems with refrigerants (e.g., R-22, R-410A).Electrical Work: Read and interpret electrical diagrams and wiring schematics to diagnose control systems.Fabrication: Use welding and brazing equipment to connect or repair piping and refrigerant lines.QualificationsReefer Expertise: Solid experience troubleshooting refrigeration and heating units.Trailer Skills: Proven experience in general trailer repair and maintenance. Licensing (Preferred): Licensed Trailer Technicians are highly preferred and will be compensated accordingly.Adaptability: A "team-first" attitude and the willingness to switch between specialized reefer work and general mechanical tasks.Additional InformationWhat do we offer to you? Requirements
Requires solid experience in reefer and general trailer repair, including the ability to handle refrigerants and read electrical schematics. A licensed Trailer Technician qualification is highly preferred.
