Position Scope We are seeking a proactive, self-directed Process Engineer to drive process optimization, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across our production environments. In this hands-on role, you will evaluate internal procedures, equipment capabilities, and supplier networks to build safe, high-quality manufacturing workflows. You will lead projects from concept through launch and into full production, ensuring all systems operate with maximum efficiency and strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct workflow and shop layout analyses to improve material handling, boost productivity, and establish accurate work standards for product costing. Lead Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plan development with suppliers; apply Lean principles (VSM, 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke) across all assembly lines. Identify and implement process upgrades for internal lines and supplier bases, framing proposals with clear cost-benefit analyses for executive approval. Support Quality teams in evaluating new tiered suppliers' manufacturing capabilities, strengths, and operational risks. Manage project timelines, resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis, and report status updates to cross-functional stakeholders. Work Environment & Physical Requirements On-site in a manufacturing environment with exposure to plant operations. Exposure to external climate conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods is required. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline). Professional Engineer (P.Eng. / PE) designation or EIT path preferred. Track record of bringing at least one project from inception through launch, followed by at least one year of ongoing production support. Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Quality Control techniques; working knowledge of HACCP and BRC requirements. Strong root cause analysis skills, logical deductive reasoning, and proficiency in creating actionable project plans. Highly organized, tenacious problem-solver, effective communicator, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Must be willing and able to travel as needed. Criminal Record Checks are required for successful applicants. Valid Driver’s License is required. Requirements

A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline, is required; a P.Eng./PE designation or EIT path is preferred. Candidates should have experience taking a project from inception through launch and supporting production, expertise in Lean manufacturing and quality control, working knowledge of HACCP and BRC, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.
