Job Details & Compensation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: CA$30.00 - CA$36.00 per hour About The Role Are you a mechanically inclined professional with a knack for hands-on repair and customer service? LJ Welding Automation is seeking a proactive and dependable Journeyperson Millwright - Service to join our Service and Rentals department. In this role, you will be essential to our operations, responsible for receiving, documenting, repairing, and maintaining both our rental fleet and customer-owned equipment. Whether you are troubleshooting issues in the shop, refurbishing equipment, or heading to a client site for repairs, you will play a key role in ensuring our automated welding equipment operates flawlessly and meets our high quality assurance standards. What You’ll Do Receive, document, test, troubleshoot, estimate, and repair LJ's rental fleet and customer-owned equipment. Clean, refurbish, maintain, and preserve equipment through welding, grinding, cutting, painting, buffing, and rust removal. Package and prepare equipment for transport or outdoor storage. Maintain strict quality assurance standards, perform inspections, and accurately identify parts using drawings, vault spreadsheets, SharePoint, and manuals. Complete service repair orders, estimates, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Organize warehouse equipment, tools, and parts inventory while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, both indoors and outdoors. Act as a professional point of contact for customers, managers, and team members. Train new staff and assist other departments as needed. Who You Are You hold a Journeyperson certificate in millwright, or an equivalent trade. You have a strong general electrical and mechanical aptitude, and are competent in using technology, power tools, hand tools, and powered mobile equipment. You possess excellent customer service skills and are proficient in English with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities. You are a dependable team player with a positive attitude, willing to learn new skills, and capable of making sound decisions while following directions meticulously. You prioritize safety at all times, wear required PPE, and are physically capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted, twisting, stretching, and working outdoors in all weather conditions or standing/walking for long hours.
