Build & Commission • Program and commission PLC/HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron) • Write ladder logic, function block, and structured text • Design electrical schematics and panel drawings • Build UL control panels to CSA/ESA/OHSA standards • Travel to client sites across the U.S. (and beyond) for commissioning and support Troubleshoot & Optimize • Diagnose machine, PLC, and HMI issues — in-house and on-site • Improve cycle times and throughput based on real customer feedback • Provide support by phone, email, and in person Document & Comply • Maintain version-controlled program backups and clear documentation • Write operating manuals and startup procedures • Champion LOTO and safety protocols on every job • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/PLC Technology • 3+ years in industrial automation (PLC/HMI programming) • Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron • Panel building and wiring skills, with a solid grasp of UL standards • Comfort reading schematics, panel layouts, and control wiring diagrams • Working knowledge of motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, VFDs, and machine safety systems • A valid passport and willingness to travel to the U.S. (and occasionally overseas) • Bonus points: VB, C, or Java programming experience • Small team, big impact — your work ships fast and matters • Entrepreneurial, hands-on culture — no red tape, no bureaucracy • Extended health care • On-site parking • Room to grow as our automation and panel shop capabilities expand
