You'll work on complex enterprise projects including data centers, campus networks, and telecommunications infrastructure. This role offers excellent growth opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge fiber optic technology. Responsibilities Install fiber optic cables and equipment Perform fusion splicing and terminations Conduct network testing and certification Troubleshoot and repair fiber systems Maintain detailed project documentation Mentor junior technicians Ensure safety compliance on all projects Qualifications 5+ years fiber optic installation experience FOA or BICSI certification preferred OTDR testing experience required Fusion splicing expertise Valid driver's license and clean record Ability to work in various environments Strong problem-solving skills Lead underground fiber construction crews to deliver safe, compliant, and on-schedule installations. You'll coordinate directional drilling, trenching, and conduit/fiber placement, ensuring quality workmanship and accurate documentation across each phase. Responsibilities Lead and mentor field crews for underground fiber construction Coordinate with directional drilling teams and locate services (811) Read prints/schematics; verify depths, paths, and utility conflicts Oversee conduit/innerduct placement, pulling/jetting fiber, handholes, and restoration Ensure jobsite safety, traffic control, and daily QC/As-builts Qualifications 3–5+ years underground utilities or fiber construction leadership Proven experience coordinating HDD/trenching and crew scheduling Strong knowledge of OSHA safety practices; OSHA 10/30 preferred Ability to read plans, mark-ups, and produce basic As-builts CDL and equipment proficiency a plus (mini-ex, vac, reel trailer)
