Role Description The Industrial Engineer will work on-site in Saint-Hubert-de, QC in a full-time capacity, supporting manufacturing operations and process optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and designing improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and product consistency. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to implement engineering solutions, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics. The Industrial Engineer will collect and interpret data, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to cost reduction and capacity optimization projects. The position also requires preparing technical documentation, communicating findings to stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 standards and company policies. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills to design, optimize, and support production processes. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to collect data, perform root cause analyses, and evaluate process performance. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly. Candidates should possess Process Improvement skills to lead continuous improvement projects and implement standardized best practices. Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in metals, materials processing, or heavy manufacturing environments is an asset. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control tools is strongly beneficial. Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and use engineering software and data analysis tools proficiently.
