We are looking for automotive technicians who are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. Responsibilities As a Midas automotive technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including: * Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems * Complex Mechanical and Electrical repair knowledge. * Tires and tire repair * Car heating and air conditioning * Steering and suspension * Belts and hoses * Radiator and engine cooling systems * Batteries, starting and charging * Steering and suspension * Brake repair * Oil services * Check engine light * Mufflers and exhaust services * Visual safety and courtesy inspections Qualifications • Must be a qualified Automotive Technician or Mechanic • Have a valid Canadian Journeyman License (required) • 5+ years of light-duty mechanical experience • Able to operate all auto repair tools • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment is a must • Ability to use and operate the alignment system • Enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be a part of a team-oriented environment • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail • Own tools/equipment • Able to service both import and domestic vehicles • Excellent organizational and sequencing skills • Familiar with reading and interpreting diagrams • A valid driver’s license, clean driver's abstract, and reliable transportation are required

Ce que vous ferez

Perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles using state-of-the-art computer systems. Responsibilities include servicing brakes, engines, cooling systems, and performing visual safety inspections.

Exigences

Candidates must be a qualified Automotive Technician with a valid Canadian Journeyman License and over 5 years of light-duty mechanical experience. A valid driver's license, clean abstract, and ownership of professional tools are required.
