Technician - Lube Shop - IOL Kearl

MFM Limited Partnership is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for the position of Shop Lube Technician to join our operation at Kearl Lake. MFM Limited Partnership, a Mikisew Group company, provides comprehensive Client services in vehicle inspection and light duty repair and overhead crane services. Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off, 11.50 hours per day. Work is conducted under an Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) - formerly known as a Compressed Work Week. Work Location: Position will be based at the Kearl Lake facility, located North of Fort McMurray, AB. Key Responsibilities: Changing oil and filters as outlined in PM task lists Executing and completing detailed inspection reports as provided Collecting compartment oil samples for analysis and monitoring Cut open oil filters for inspection Basic maintenance repairs such as lights, wiper blades, etc. Ensure work areas are cleaned Spot washing of equipment when required Cleaning of equipment cabs if required Moving of equipment to prepare for maintenance if required Follow worksite safety policies and practices Other duties as required Qualifications: Experience in maintenance and repair Heavy Equipment Technician Pre-App (preferred) Grade 12 Diploma Forklift certification Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract Standard First Aid Able to carry out written and oral instructions Able to lift up to 50lbs Able to successfully obtain clearance of a Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test Benefits & Incentives: Competitive wage Schedule offers work/life balance Career growth and development opportunities Immediate Group Benefits coverage (including Extended Health coverage, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Disability, Critical Illness) Participation in Group Retirement Savings Plan with 5% company matching About Mikisew Group Since 1991, Mikisew Group has been a leading oilsands partner specializing in site services, maintenance, logistics and construction. Perform oil and filter changes, detailed inspections, and basic maintenance repairs on equipment. Maintain a clean work area and move equipment to prepare for scheduled maintenance.

Requires a Grade 12 diploma, valid Class 5 driver's license, and certifications in Forklift, CSO, and Standard First Aid. Experience in maintenance and repair is required, with a Heavy Equipment Technician Pre-App preferred.
