About Our Client Our client in Toronto is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. Someone who has experience working with a stamping, welding and/or tube forming manufacturing company as has experience creating packaging for manufactured parts. Location: Toronto, Ontario. 100% On Site Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy. Compensation : $80,000 - $90,000 per year Responsibilities Provide engineering support for the production/maintenance team Support estimating and sales for quoting purposes Lead continuous improvement activities of products and processes within the company using 5S or Lean methodologies Provide engineering support commissioning new equipment Work with product design as it pertains to DFMA Communicate with suppliers Minimum Requirements A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering 10 years’ of work experience in manufacturing setting Work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or as a Process Engineer Experience with stamping, welding, and/or tube forming Good understanding and experience in packaging.
