The Role: Optimize and enhance setup and operating practices on manufacturing equipment by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, testing, and rolling out manufacturing methods to the plant floor. What you get to do: * Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, tools, and equipment layout * Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes * Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. * Coordinate maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; request special service as needed * Develop, update, and improve Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with improvements on the line. * Lead training of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) on the plant floor * Execute design and development projects and complete through training and guiding operators and technicians * Keep equipment operational by operating packaging lines as necessary * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including but not limited to leading Continuous Improvement sessions * Identify, propose, and execute cost reduction activities * Support Research and Development activities through running trials, participate in design discussions, or travel to vendors * Will be required to travel to support technical transfer, factory acceptance tests, professional development, and training What you bring to the role: * Effective communication, written and verbal skills * Basic mathematical skills * Willing to learn and develop Manufacturing Best Practices * Able to work flexible hours (overtime and periodic weekends required) * Ability to handle conflicts and provide resolutions * Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and concepts * Shows initiative, takes directions, and executes plans efficiently * Must possess technical aptitude. Requirements

Candidates must possess technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and knowledge of continuous improvement principles and SOPs. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is required, along with the ability to handle conflicts and work independently or in a team.
