Weld Destruct Technician

The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager. The candidate will have experience in the automotive industry. The candidate must have experience/knowledge of welding, projection weld, resistance weld and arc (mig) weld. Candidate is able to use plasma cutter, air hammer chisels, pushout and pull testers, saws, hand gages i.e. Vernier, micrometers and torque wrenches. Ability to learn non-destructive testing equipment. Candidate must have experience in basic computer skills; such as Word and Excel. Some knowledge of blueprint reading. The technician is responsible for performing weld destruction testing and quality inspections. They will utilize various cutting and testing tools to ensure automotive weld integrity.

Candidates must have automotive industry experience and proficiency in multiple welding types and precision measurement tools. Basic computer skills and the ability to work flexible shifts are required.
