Further information is available at www.newflyer.com. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of the Product Configurator within the Teamcenter database. Review engineering documentation for implementation to the Product Configurator and test variants for accuracy. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Responsible for creating and maintaining all Product offering variants within the database and establishing rules to ensure accuracy of allowable variants Reviews Engineering documents for implementation of variants in the Product Configurator Create/maintain and ensure the accuracy of the product libraries Run validation tests within the Product Configurator to ensure accuracy of rules against allowable variants Work closely with Engineering to evaluate applicability of new option variants for implementation within the Product Configurator Participate in process improvement activities to improve efficiencies and increase configurability Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Post secondary education in the field of engineering 2-3 years of experience in an engineering environment Intermediate/Advanced proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint Online and Power Automate (MS Flow) Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter and Oracle application is an asset Knowledge of Product Configurator applications is an asset Strong/effective communication skills, both verbal and written High level attention to detail WHY JOIN OUR TEAM: Competitive Wages A continuous learning environment Ability to advance your career with a growing company NFI Group has been named a Manitoba Top Employer for 2020 and this is the tenth time since the competition was established in 2007 Employee social committee organizes numerous events throughout the year, including summer barbecues, holiday festivities, sporting events and tournaments, and much more Ongoing employee development through a variety of in-house training initiatives along with tuition subsidies for courses at outside institutions
