The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological equipment with minimal supervision. They perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using ionizing radiation while maintaining a culture of safety and effective communication within the team.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Radiological Technology and hold CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure. Basic Life Support certification is also required, along with the physical capability to perform the duties of the position.
