Job Description Industrial Power Systems | Kelowna, BC | Confidential Search Most senior electrical engineers who move to the Okanagan take a step down in project complexity to do it. This role is the exception. A growing industrial consultancy is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Okanagan team. You will run studies and design packages for resource, processing, energy, and utility clients across the BC Interior, take projects from concept through energization, and help set how the technical work gets done. What You Will Own Projects from feasibility through detailed design, site work, commissioning, and energization Drawings, calculations, specifications, material lists, and documentation that you prepare and approve Design packages covering substations, medium and low voltage distribution, grounding and bonding, lighting, and cable routing Power system studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash Proposals, estimates, schedules, budgets, and technical presentations The technical lead role in client, vendor, and contractor discussions Mentorship for engineers, technologists, and designers as the team grows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution P.Eng. registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC, or eligible to register immediately 7+years in industrial electrical engineering across resource, processing, energy, utility, or manufacturing environments Proven delivery of full electrical design and drawing packages Substation, medium voltage distribution, protection, grounding, cabling, and lighting design experience Solid command of the Canadian Electrical Code, National Electrical Code, and applicable IEEE standards Confidence presenting technical solutions to clients, with strong technical writing Valid driver's license and availability for periodic site travel Considered an Asset: Power system modelling in ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar, relay programming, AutoCAD oversight, front end engineering and cost estimating, commissioning and energization experience Why Is This a Great Opportunity Okanagan base, coastal calibre projects. Requirements
