Job summary
About the role: We are looking for an Electronic Technician to join our production team. Reporting to the Production Team Lead, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the manufacturing, repair, and validation of electronic products in a high-tech manufacturing environment. What you'll do: Troubleshoot and validate electronic circuit boards. Identify and document technical and functional product failures. Report and document assembly non-conformities. Perform functional tests according to work instructions. Participate in full product assembly. Provide technical support to the quality department. Assist in maintaining test stations. Suggest improvements to testing procedures and test benches. Collaborate on the introduction of new products and equipment. Qualifications: College diploma (DEC) in electronics or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-tech manufacturing environment (electronics and software). Relevant experience in electronic soldering. Good command of the Windows environment (batch files, commands, scripts). Knowledge of radiofrequency (RF) and RF testing equipment (an asset). Basic knowledge of databases (an asset). General Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team while being autonomous and versatile. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and a constant focus on quality. Proficient in French and English, both spoken and written. #makewaves
