Job Summary The successful Electromechanically technician will work under the Maintenance Supervisor as part of a team responsible for optimizing the machinery output by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery. Responsibilities Repair, install, assemble, maintain and test industrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps and compressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical and electronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems); Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in the plant and perform repairs; Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doing repairs; Report any specific findings, known problem or delays to supervisor; Other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor Qualifications And Education Experience A high school diploma and vocational training or program are usually required. Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionized environment an asset Successfully complete internal testing. Relevant industrial experience preferred, experience in troubleshooting and repair. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards an asset;
