Provide engineering assessments, protect the Ministry’s interests, coordinate stakeholders, and resolve complex planning and engineering issues.

Develop and oversee technical systems for construction-material evaluation and quality control, conduct inspections and laboratory assessments, and lead technical projects that inform policies, guidelines, standards, and specifications. Evaluate materials, methods, technologies, and laboratory performance; develop procedures and training resources; and provide technical leadership, training, and presentations to staff and stakeholders.
