Job summary

Inspect, test, diagnose, repair, and replace components in commercial trucks and truck-trailer systems, including performing scheduled maintenance and road tests. Discuss findings and repair decisions with supervisors, advise customers about completed and future work, and document problems and repairs.

Inspect, test, diagnose, repair, and replace components in commercial trucks and truck-trailer systems, including performing scheduled maintenance and road tests. Discuss findings and repair decisions with supervisors, advise customers about completed and future work, and document problems and repairs.

Requirements

Requires a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program, two to less than three years of experience, and Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification. A valid driver's licence, personal tools, and steel-toed safety boots are also specified.
