Contents Technician $18.00 - $20.00 per hour The Contents Technician position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our team addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism while preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site. IICRC certifications are available as IICRC classes are offered Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold Survey damage within the property Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property Assist with the completion of supply orders for the contents division Submit daily time sheets and code job hours to the supervisor Complete cleaning processes for both contents and structural damage assigned jobs Complete and file documentation on contents and laundry jobs Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS) Take photos of jobs assigned at the start, completion, and throughout the process Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas Perform initial site visits Set restoration equipment within guidelines Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer) Customer Service Skills Ability to learn and operate our primary operating system: RMS Ability to create documents Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face Ability to work independently and / or with a team Ability to participate in an on-call schedule Ability to work within hazardous environments safely Ability to operate a company vehicle safely Maintain a level of confidentiality Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Customer Service experience Physical Requirement: Constantly move about job sites; stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces Stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle Occasionally requires a ladder to complete jobs Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face Frequently will lift up to 50lbs Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Make an impact now: Paul Davis is proud of our 56-year heritage serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day. The Contents Technician responds to emergency property damage situations to survey, evaluate, and record damage to items. They are responsible for cleaning contents and structural damage while maintaining detailed documentation and photos in the RMS system.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and experience in customer service. Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and navigate challenging environments like crawl spaces and roofs is required.
