What you can expect when joining the team As a member of the medical billing operations team, you will be responsible for handling the entire medical billing cycle for our clients on a biweekly basis. You will participate in all tasks of your team while having full responsibility for certain files. This position requires a minimum of one day a week in our Quebec or Montreal office. Your daily life In your day to day, you will be led to: Validate the medical billing entries made by our general practitioner or specialists clients using the most efficient medical billing software in the province; Write client file follow-ups; Verify account statements, analyzing errors, and reissuing unpaid claims; Ensure impeccable customer service, whether through messaging or phone calls; Prepare various reports to ensure the management of the complete medical billing cycle; Participate in continuous internal training on medical billing; Perform any other related tasks. Your profile Are you a professional, courteous person who values quality customer service? If you have: A college diploma in office administration, administrative technology, or a combination of relevant education and experience; Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; Familiarity with web and mobile applications, as well as ease with technology and computer tools (e.g., Trello, Intercom, Gmail, Slack, Dropbox, etc.); The ability to manage priorities and handle stress during peak periods; A strong sense of responsibility and prioritization; Experience in RAMQ medical billing (a major asset); Since you will be interacting with our clients, many of whom are English or French speakers, proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and reading) is required.
