We are seeking a motivated Mine Technician to provide technical support to the Mine Technical Services team, assisting with survey, mine planning, ventilation, and engineering activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Mine Engineers, Surveyors, Geologists, and Operations personnel to collect, analyze, and maintain accurate operational data that supports safe and efficient underground mining activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early to intermediate-career mining professional looking to gain hands-on experience in an active underground mining environment while developing technical skills across multiple areas of mine operations. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to the Mine Engineering and Technical Services teams Assist with underground mine surveys, data collection, and field measurements to support mining activities Support mine planning activities through data entry, reporting, and updating planning documentation Assist with maintaining mine designs, development plans, and operational drawings Collect and organize underground operational data to support engineering analysis and decision-making Assist with ventilation monitoring, inspections, and data collection as required Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports Work collaboratively with Mine Operations, Engineering, Geology, Survey, Ventilation, and Maintenance teams Assist with tracking development progress and comparing actual field conditions against mine plans Perform underground inspections and field visits to verify operational information Maintain accurate records, databases, and technical documentation Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and safety performance Requirements Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, Geological Technology, or a related technical discipline 1-5 years of experience supporting underground mining operations preferred Experience working in an underground mining environment is considered an asset Understanding of underground mining processes, development activities, and technical services functions Experience supporting mine surveying, mine planning, ventilation, or engineering activities is considered an asset Familiarity with mining software such as Deswik, Vulcan, AutoCAD, MicroSurvey, MineSight, or similar is preferred Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Ability to work independently in an active mining environment Valid Class 5 driver's license Benefits Full health and Dental Benefits.
