About The Role As a Service Technician at Pine Glen, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our projects to life. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, skilled labour across a range of construction tasks, ensuring our reputation for excellence is upheld. This is an opportunity to work on custom projects where no two days are the same, and your expertise makes a real impact. What You’ll Do Core Responsibilities Prepare tools, materials, and plans to ensure every workday runs seamlessly. Execute skilled labour tasks such as framing, taping, plastering, trimming, painting, flooring, and mechanical work. Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites in compliance with Ontario Health & Safety (H&S) standards. Communicate daily with your supervisor to provide updates and address project needs. Uphold Pine Glen’s high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Additional Responsibilities Manage and maintain inventory of tools and materials. Assist with emergency response needs via phone or email. Provide recommendations to improve processes and enhance Pine Glen’s position as an industry leader. What You’ll Bring Skills and Experience Proven expertise in construction with advanced knowledge of skilled labour techniques. Familiarity with construction project scheduling and cost management. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a positive attitude and results-oriented mindset. Personal Attributes Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven. Physically capable of handling the demands of the role. Flexibility to work long hours or weekends when required.
