What You'll Be Doing As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll be diagnosing and repairing complex issues on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment right at the customer’s site. You’ll troubleshoot and support advanced GPS and Precision Ag technologies, ensuring our customers’ equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Clear communication with customers about repairs and maintenance is key, as is supporting customer clinics and promoting Premier Equipment’s service programs. You’ll manage your mobile service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory while adhering to safety standards and completing all required documentation. Your expertise will keep our customers’ operations productive and help maintain Premier’s reputation for exceptional service. Responsibilities Performs complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment. Troubleshoots and supports established in-vehicle GPS and Precision Ag Technologies. Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents them on the work order. Supports customer clinics. May promote and sell Premier Equipment’s service programs directly to customers. May establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle. Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products. Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools, and equipment. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties. #HP02 Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience performing service repairs. Ability to perform complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs following technical manuals. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to troubleshoot and support GPS and Precision Ag technologies. Proficient with Service Advisor and basic computer skills. Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment. Saturday rotation and on-call availability. Preferred Advanced or Master Service Technician certification. CDL (Commercial Driver’s License). Forklift license. Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training. Experience with John Deere and competitive products.
