The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is a municipal government in north central British Columbia. Just like Canada is made up of provinces and territories, a regional district is a federation of municipalities and electoral areas. Regional districts provide services in urban and rural areas, capital borrowing for its members and the political forum for local government policy. About 100,000 people reside within our boundaries in the City of Prince George, District of Mackenzie, Village of McBride, Village of Valemount and seven electoral areas.
