The M-U Electrical Technician is responsible for the safe installation, splicing, and termination of underground electrical, telecommunication, and CATV cables. They must also perform quality control testing, maintain accurate field documentation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and utility standards.

The technician will perform fiber optic splicing, testing, and network maintenance for both outside and inside plant infrastructure. Responsibilities also include maintaining DC power systems and responding to emergency network faults.
