In this role, you will perform high-quality radiographic examinations, support lab services (for CLXT roles), and provide compassionate care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. 🔍 Responsibilities Perform general radiographic imaging procedures following established protocols Ensure accurate patient positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation safety practices Operate digital imaging and radiography equipment in accordance with standards Review images for diagnostic quality and communicate concerns to radiologists Provide patient education, support, and reassurance throughout procedures For CLXT roles: perform routine laboratory testing, specimen collection, and quality control Maintain equipment, follow infection control procedures, and ensure safe work environments Accurately document imaging procedures and follow departmental protocols ✨ Position Highlights 📍 Location: Diagnostic Imaging departments across British Columbia ⏰ Shifts: Flexible scheduling — days, evenings, nights, and weekends 🖥️ Environment: Modern imaging suites with collaborative multidisciplinary teams 🧾 Requirements – What You’ll Bring ✔ Current registration with CAMRT (or eligibility) or relevant provincial regulatory body ✔ Diploma or certification in Medical Radiologic Technology or CLXT ✔ Experience in general X-ray; trauma or acute care experience is an asset ✔ Familiarity with PACS, digital radiography, and imaging protocols ✔ Excellent patient-care, communication, and positioning skills ✔ Strong commitment to radiation safety, accuracy, and quality imaging ✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments 🌟 Why Join Us?
