They also utilize specialized medical equipment to study organ physiology for diagnostic purposes. Candidates must hold a college diploma in nuclear medicine technology from a recognized institution. Additionally, they must be a registered member of the Ordre des technologues en imagerie médicale, en radio-oncologie et en électrophysiologie médicale du Québec.
