Door Doctor located in Ottawa part of the Sentinel group, is looking for a Service Apprentice, Technician who are the driving force behind our success - the heartbeat of our company. We’re looking for skilled, dedicated individuals to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: * Assist Lead technicians with repairs and maintenance of overhead doors and loading dock equipment * Accurately complete work orders, inspection forms, and capture site photos for documentation * Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE to ensure readiness and compliance * Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe, professional work environment * Deliver outstanding customer service while representing the company on-site What we're looking for: * Clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools * Comfortable working at heights * Positive attitude and a team-first mindset Assets: * Experience with loading docks and commercial overhead doors * Welding or millwright experience What's in it for you? * Access to the Sentinel Training Facility, designed to set our technical team up for success and provide a clear progressive career path - a first-of-its-kind in the dock and door industry. Requirements
Requires a valid driver's license, strong mechanical aptitude, and comfort working at heights. Experience with welding, millwright work, or commercial doors is considered an asset.
