Position Overview As a Disaster Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for responding to residential and commercial property damage caused by water, fire, smoke, and other disasters. Our team is cross-trained, so you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of restoration, reconstruction, and cleaning. Key Responsibilities Water extraction and setup/monitoring of drying equipment in accordance with IICRC standards Demolition and removal of damaged materials Cleaning and restoration following fire and smoke damage Painting and assisting carpenters General cleaning and debris removal Assisting with cleaning projects when required Maintaining equipment and ensuring job sites are safe and organized Requirements Valid driver’s license Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Strong work ethic and reliability Positive attitude and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Must be willing to provide a criminal record check prior to employment What We Offer On-the-job training (no prior experience required) Opportunity to learn multiple skills within the restoration industry Supportive team environment Competitive compensation (based on experience) Opportunity for advancement Company events An office dog! Requirements
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A criminal record check and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation are required.
