What You'll Do As a Lead Remediation Technician, you'll take ownership of projects and lead crews responding to water, fire, and property damage losses. Responsibilities include: Leading crews on emergency mitigation and restoration projects Performing demolition, drying, cleaning, and restoration activities Monitoring drying progress and recording psychrometric readings Protecting and packing out customer contents when required Ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and efficiently Communicating with customers and team members throughout the project Maintaining accurate job documentation Participating in an on-call rotation to support emergency response operations What We're Looking For 3+ years of restoration industry experience Experience leading or mentoring a team Current IICRC WRT certification Construction and demolition knowledge Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's licence Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift 50 lbs Willingness to travel when required Assets That Will Set You Apart Additional IICRC certifications (AMRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT) Experience with mould and asbestos remediation Construction or trade experience Experience with restoration software such as Encircle First Aid certification What You'll Get $25-$30/hour based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated leadership capability Hourly premiums for working with hazardous materials Company-paid benefits for qualifying employees Ongoing technical and leadership training Opportunities to earn additional certifications and expand your expertise Consistent work with one of Manitoba's leading restoration companies A clear career path with opportunities to advance into Senior Lead Technician, Estimating, Project Management, Environmental Operations, and other leadership roles Why Join ServiceMaster Restore Winnipeg?
