The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview As an EKG Technologist, the incumbent performs all routine and special EKG related procedures, trains Medical Technologists and ancillary staff in EKG procedures, maintains the EKG quality control program. The EKG Technologist functions in accordance with Shared Health’s mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and any applicable legislation. Experience Several years related experience and/or demonstrated experience sufficient to perform duties. Supervisory experience and/or training an asset. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Advanced Registered Cardiology Technician. Certification/Licensure/Registration Certified and currently registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists. Qualifications And Skills Must be proficient in related diagnostic procedures, ability to operate and maintain equipment. Ability to teach and supervise others. Requirements

Requires an Advanced Registered Cardiology Technician qualification and current certification and registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists. Several years of related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the duties is required; supervisory experience or training is an asset, along with proficiency in diagnostic procedures, equipment operation and maintenance, teaching, and team supervision.
