DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Impact and Responsibilities: * Lead project teams in designing electrical systems for various building facilities. * Apply your working knowledge of electrical design and supporting calculations, including: * Single line drawings * Feeder sizing * Panel and distribution board sizing * Motor control schedules * Fault and voltage drop calculations * Design systems for power distribution, lighting (indoor and outdoor), power generation, controls, life safety (e.g., fire alarm, public address, nurse call), voice/data communications, basic security/CCTV systems, and lighting calculations. * Check drawings for accuracy, suitability, and adherence to standards. * Prepare drawings in AutoCAD / Revit. * Interface with clients, contractors, and sales reps. * Prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines. * Conduct site visits/reviews and assist with contract administration. * Lead an internal team through multiple projects concurrently. * Work collaboratively with clients to meet project needs. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: * 4+ years of professional experience. * Registered as C.E.T, P.Eng., P.L.(Eng.), P.Tech, or A.Sc.T (equivalent experience considered). * Experience in commercial, retail, office, residential, and institutional projects (oil and gas experience not considered). * Knowledge of provincial and federal electrical and building codes. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Team player open to sharing ideas. * Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
