Location Middle Musquodoboit, NS B0N 1X0 - Canada Full time Responsible for the execution of the Environmental field monitoring and sampling programs as required to fulfill regulatory requirements. We seek an experienced professional to fill the role of Environmental Technician. This fixed term and full-time position is based at the Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. The mine is permitted to resume ore processing which will restart in Fall 2026. Our Environmental Technician will join a dedicated Environmental team. Reporting to the Environmental Supervisor, your role will be responsible for the execution of the Environmental field monitoring and sampling programs as required to fulfill regulatory requirements. The Opportunity Work collaboratively with other team members and actively ensure team and departmental compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards and policy. Execute the existing environmental sampling program, including surface water, ground water and soil sampling. Conduct site inspections and environmental monitoring. Tabulate field and laboratory results Update databases. Check all results are accurate utilizing quality assurance, quality control (QAQC) procedures. Requirements
