ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Service Technician to join the Suncoast Regina team. This hands-on role focuses on servicing and repairing Suncoast products including leaks, door adjustments, screens, vinyl systems, louvered roofs, and retractable systems while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Work is Monday - Friday, Seasonally Late March - November or December depending on weather, with expected overtime during our peak season (May - October). WHAT YOU’LL DO Provide service and repairs on Suncoast products such as fixing leaks, making adjustments, rescreening, and minor installations (training provided). Safely operate a company truck and trailer to make deliveries and perform on-site service calls. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe vehicle operation. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving warehouse, delivery, and service requirements. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Carpentry Experience: Level 2-4 apprentices preferred. Basic Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with and ability to safely use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels. Measurement Skills: Accurate reading of a tape measure is crucial for precise installations. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact professionally with customers. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to out-of-town job sites, including overnight stays. Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record and valid driver's license are required for travel to job sites.
