Ensuring cost efficiency when filing orders. Research, identify and communicate cost savings. Assist with maintaining inventory levels in parts department. Assist Field Technicians with part requests. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Parts Technician (Heavy Equipment) Qualifications: Journeyperson and Apprentices will be considered for this position. Individuals with parts experience (not apprentice or journeyperson) will also be considered for this position. Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset. Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial. Familiarity with Toolhound is considered an asset. Familiarity with Hydraulic Hose Assembly is considered an asset. GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset. The Parts Technician is responsible for filling orders using electronic systems, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting field technicians with parts requests. They must also promote a culture of safety and identify cost-saving opportunities within the parts department.

Candidates should be a Journeyperson or Apprentice, though those with relevant parts experience will be considered. Essential requirements include a reliable vehicle, CSA-approved steel-toed boots, and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and fitness assessment.
