We offer: Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching, Boot Allowance Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: Villeneuve, AB. Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle Valid Class 5 Drivers License CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fitness to Work Assessment Parts Technician (Heavy Equipment) Responsibilities: Ensure orders are filled in a timely manner, using electronic order systems. Complete broker paperwork for international shipping. Ensuring time efficiency when filing orders. Research, identify and communicate cost. Assist with maintaining inventory. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Parts Technician (Heavy Equipment) Qualifications: Journeyperson and Apprentices will be considered for this position. Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT. Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset. Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial. GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset. Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a strong asset. Working with Inventory Assist with Shipping Parts to USA with XPO, UPS, or Manitoulin. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license, have a reliable vehicle, and possess CSA-approved steel-toed boots. A background as a Journeyperson or Apprentice in heavy equipment mechanics is required, with preference given to those with CAT-SIS or Komatsu experience.
