Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: Villeneuve, AB. Ensuring time efficiency when filing orders. Research, identify and communicate cost. Assist with maintaining inventory. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position Used Parts Heavy Equipment Technician Qualifications: Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent 3rd year apprentices will be considered for this position Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT. Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset. Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial. GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset. Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a strong asset. The technician is responsible for dismantling heavy equipment, removing parts, and performing quality checks and overhauls. They must also manage inventory, fill electronic orders efficiently, and adhere to company safety programs.

Candidates must be a Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or a 3rd year apprentice in good standing. A valid Class 5 driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass drug and alcohol testing are required.
