About The Role We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a growing agricultural equipment dealership in Ponoka, Alberta. This position will primarily involve field service work, with some in-shop responsibilities as required. The successful candidate will independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain agricultural and heavy-duty equipment while providing excellent service to customers. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot agricultural equipment and identify required repairs. Perform testing and inspections to determine equipment issues. Complete repairs, maintenance, and servicing of agricultural equipment. Recommend repairs and communicate findings to the Service Manager or customer. Prepare accurate and timely service reports and work orders. Communicate with manufacturer/factory technical support when required. Share technical information and knowledge with the service team. Provide professional and responsive customer service. Travel to customer locations to perform field repairs and maintenance. Perform shop-based repairs and maintenance when required. Follow all safety procedures and company standards. Qualifications & Skills Journeyman certification in Agricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician. Minimum 3 years of technician experience preferred. Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing agricultural equipment. Familiarity with equipment such as tractors, balers, skid steers, and other farm machinery. Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel to customer locations as required. Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Ponoka, AB.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Journeyman certification in Agricultural or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician and possess a valid driver's license. A minimum of 3 years of experience and strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills are preferred.
