We're looking for a Collision Reconstruction Expert to join our team in Toronto. If you're someone who takes your job seriously but also has a great sense of humor, we want you on our team. Would you like to write CEP's future with us? The role: As a Collision Reconstruction Forensic Expert, you'll be solving some of the most peculiar and perplexing cases that come our way. No mystery is too small or too big for you to handle. Examine and document collision sites and vehicles, take pictures, videos, samples, readings, and collect other pertinent information. Conduct interviews with witnesses and other stakeholders using your amazing social skills. Gather and analyze data and evidence using math, physics, and engineering principles. Collaborate with other investigators and experts to solve multi-disciplinary cases. Write convincing and accessible reports to a reader who is not an expert in the field. These reports detail all the stages of the investigation which led you to a logical conclusion. Promote the company through your friendly and professional attitude during your interactions with customers and strengthen your relationships with them. What you bring to the table: A University degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or an appropriate combination of education and experience. Registered EIT. P.Eng. will be an asset. Bilingual preferred with ability to communicate in French in English with report writing skills. 1 - 3 years of experience or more in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or collision analysis and reconstruction. A keen eye for detail, a sharp wit, and a sense of humor that can brighten up people around you. Hands-on knowledge of applied general and industrial mechanics, typical failure mechanisms and types of testing. Ability to multi-task. A deep understanding of the power of laughter and its ability to make even the toughest of cases seem less daunting. The ability to manage client relationships through the life of a file and beyond The desire to meet and network with clients, at exciting and fun events around the industry.
