What You'll Be Doing As a Key Leader Within The Organization, You Will Lead the design and delivery of diverse electrical building projects from concept through construction. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a talented team of engineers and designers. Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure exceptional quality. Collaborate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and provide construction-phase support including contract administration and shop drawing reviews. Help recruit, develop, and grow the electrical team while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 10+ years of consulting engineering experience within the building services industry. Strong expertise in electrical building systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety, emergency power, and associated building systems. Proven experience leading projects and mentoring engineering teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bonus Points For P.Eng. designation. Experience delivering healthcare, institutional, commercial, or multi-residential projects. Business development experience, proposal writing, or contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
