What’s In It For You $43/hr plus applicable shift premiums Pension match up to 5 + 1% Employer-paid health and dental benefits $1,000 annual tool allowance $1,000 annual education assistance Paid uniform program 3 weeks’ vacation to start Overtime available Flexible night s chedule options include 4 x 10-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts Millwright Responsibilities: Respond to machine breakdowns and emergency repair calls to maximize equipment uptime Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems Perform welding and fabrication as required Maintain plant plumbing, including repairs to steam and water leaks Support maintenance of lift truck batteries and chargers Assist with parts inventory and identify required replacement components Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modifications Coordinate with contractors and other trades as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complete maintenance activities in accordance with plant safety and quality standards Millwright Qualifications: Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licence with apprenticeship 3–5 years of Millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance Welding and fabrication capabilities Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work a flexible night schedule covering the required 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. core hours This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within one of our client organizations.
