Service Technician/Mechanic The opportunity TCR is a global leader in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) solutions, and we are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our Calgary workshop team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing GSE and commercial trucks, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE and/or commercial trucks following OEM and TCR standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements. Carry out refurbishing tasks such as welding, painting, fabrication, and bodywork. Maintain accurate work order records and inventory usage. Support a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, following 5S principles. Participate in on-call rotations for urgent repairs. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical repairs. Experience with GSE or commercial truck maintenance is an asset. Ability to read schematics and follow technical manuals. Strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in basic MS Office 365 tools.
