This is an exciting time to join our team at a high-growing stage. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installation Journeyman Technician to join our growing team. Installation Technician Responsibilities Understand the project's scope of work sufficiently to plan, manage, and execute associated work. Recognize necessary or desired scope changes Lead and direct people, equipment and resources in the construction of the project scope of work, (if applicable) Ensure sufficient deployment and productivity of work. Engage in open communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers and report any issues which could affect the project plan. Work as a team member to carry out project scope of work. Proper use of project equipment and tools is required. Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction materials, manpower and equipment. Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner. Review and adhere to construction schedules on a daily, weekly monthly basis, and on a per project basis, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met. Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively. Read and interpret project plans and specifications. Operate equipment as needed Assist project leadership in acquiring all project required municipal, state or federal approvals, including all departmental sign off’s up to and including the final building inspections and Certificates (if applicable). Blueprint reading Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of construction processes Knowledge of construction equipment Interpersonal skills Time Management Thoroughness Communication skills Organizational skills Intermediate computer skills Ability to work independently Valid driver's license Qualifications Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration Technician 2- 3 years of supermarket experience (preferred not mandatory) Knowledge in Commercial Refrigeration Safety Certifications (preferred) Fall Protection Aerial Work Platform First Aid Compensation Competitive Wages Local UA516 Rates: Union total package $74.93 (additional for GAS & ELE tickets) Sign on Bonus UP TO $7,500 one-time bonus Benefits UA516 Health/Dental/Vision Benefits Job Type: Full-Time

Requirements

Must be a Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration Technician with a valid driver's license. Experience in supermarket refrigeration and safety certifications like Fall Protection are preferred.
