Audi Edmonton North has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced technicians while developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified Automotive Service Technician. You will assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment. A Day in the Life • Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections • Support licensed technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance while developing technical skills and knowledge • Conduct vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurements under the guidance of senior technicians • Learn to identify mechanical and electrical concerns and assist with troubleshooting and repair recommendations • Participate in road tests and pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards • Assist with vehicle preparation and maintenance on new and used inventory • Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts and materials for repairs • Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean, safe, and organized manner • Follow manufacturer repair procedures, dealership policies, and safety standards at all times • Participate in apprenticeship training, manufacturer training programs, and ongoing professional development opportunities • Support fellow technicians and contribute to overall shop productivity and efficiency • Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information • Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and career advancement within the automotive industry What We’re Looking For • Registered Apprentice Automotive Service Technician (any level) or actively pursuing an apprenticeship is required • Previous Audi and Volkswagen automotive shop, dealership, or mechanical experience is strongly preferred • Passion for the automotive industry and a strong desire to learn and develop technical skills • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities • A valid Driver’s License, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, is required • Able to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, or willing to learn • Strong organizational and time management skills • Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Reliable, punctual, and dependable • Ability to work the physical requirements of a service technician role • Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds • Ability to stand for extended periods of time • High level of mobility, dexterity, endurance, and sensory awareness What We Offer • Competitive wages • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and insurance • Unlimited opportunities for advancement, growth, and development • Manufacturer-led training opportunities • Apprenticeship support and career development programs • Access to exclusive corporate discount programs • Recognition and rewards programs • A great team atmosphere and a positive, supportive working environment How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit, please apply with your resume today!
