Job summary
The Total Group of Companies is actively recruiting a team of 12-16 Rescue Technicians for a long-term project located in Saskatchewan. The Rescue Teams are primarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby, fire prevention, instruction and or medical response to clients of The Total Group of Companies. Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, daily task and activities include but are not limited to: Assist with developing and reviewing site-specific rescue plans. Support rescue operations, drills, equipment setup, and inspections. Monitor work areas and help maintain a safe site. Work closely with the rescue team, site personnel, and other contractors. Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment. Required Certifications: Confined Space Rescue Confined Space Entry Fall Protection Standard First Aid with CPR/AED WHMIS 2015 CSTS 2020 Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Additional Assets: Rope Rescue or High-Angle Rescue certification NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue certification Firefighter training or industrial rescue experience To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria: Minimum 18 years of age. Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN. Hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle. Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
