As a Lane Closure Technician (LCT), you play an essential role in supporting the safety of your fellow roadworkers, crews and members of public on the road. You will work to provide Peace of Mind to multiple parties by safely and effectively controlling traffic. What you will be responsible for: Safely setting up and tearing down worksites. Protecting your team and clients with safety at the forefront all the time. Directing other TCP’s on-site. Filling out and signing off on pre-job paperwork, including FLRA’s and TMP’s. Communicating clearly with drivers, crews on-site and fellow traffic control personnel. Coming home safe to your family! What you get from us: Signing bonus of $1000 for experienced LCT(T&C Apply). What we need from you: Minimum 6 months of BC LCT experience. Current TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC or equivalent provincial regulator. Drivers License with a clean driving record. Possession of and ability to use a smartphone with a data plan. Available to work Monday-Friday for different shift times. Comfortable with the physical demands of the LCT role, including but not limited to: Lifting up to 30 lbs. Standing for long periods of time uninterrupted. Working outdoors in all weather conditions. The ability to navigate a mobile dispatch app. Where/When you will be working: Dispatchable region across Interior BC. Available 5 weekdays (Mon-Fri). Occasional weekend work available. Working outdoors in all elements and weather. The recruitment process for this role typically lasts 1 week and includes a phone screen, behavioural assessment and an in-person interview. Exigences

Candidates must have at least 6 months of BC Lane Closure Technician experience and hold a current TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC. A valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting 30 lbs are also required.
