Job Title: Industrial / Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Type: Full-Time Day shift Location: Vaughan, ON (L4K) About Us We are a growing, fast-paced organization based in the Vaughan area dedicated to operational excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, mechanically and electrically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our core team. The Role You will be the backbone of our operational uptime. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex machinery and facility infrastructure. You will be expected to work proactively to prevent equipment downtime and respond rapidly to urgent technical issues. Key Responsibilities Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and quickly diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify root causes of equipment failures. Documentation: Accurately log maintenance activities, parts used, and work orders in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict Ontario health and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills License Requirement: Valid 442A or 309A Ticket License Requirement: Minimum 5 years working on CNC equipment. Sound knowledge of troubleshooting servo drives and servo motors Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical maintenance experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or heavy facility environment. Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, and technical manuals. Problem Solving: A sharp, analytical mind with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure and resolve complex technical malfunctions. Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on maintenance experience, be able to interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals, troubleshoot under pressure, and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment.
