Unionized Job Vacancy POSITION TITLE: Engineering Technologist I - IV HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week HOURLY RATE: $39.41-$42.34 Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Engineering Technologist provides a variety of engineering technical services for the Town of Smithers. Qualifications for an Engineering Technologist I - IV includes at least one to five years in Civil or Municipal Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidates with lesser experience are encouraged to apply, and will be considered at a Level I ($39.41) or Level II ($40.12). Requirements
Requires a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and one to five years of experience in Civil or Municipal Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidates should have a valid Class 5 driver's license, WHMIS, traffic control and first aid qualifications, knowledge of water, sewer, stormwater, surveying, CAD and drafting, and eligibility for membership as an Applied Science Technologist with ASTTBC.
