*Job Summary* Trade Sense Home Services is a growing multi-trade service company providing *Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Handyman services* to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for an experienced, motivated *Sales Consultant* who understands the skilled trades and can confidently meet with customers, assess their needs, recommend solutions, prepare estimates, and turn opportunities into booked projects. This is not a traditional retail sales position. We are looking for someone who can walk into a home, business, renovation or job site, understand what the customer is trying to accomplish, recognize the different trades involved, and work with our team to develop the right solution. The Position As a Sales Consultant with Trade Sense Home Services, you will work with customers from the initial inquiry through to an approved project. You will sell and coordinate opportunities involving: * Electrical installations, upgrades, renovations and service work * HVAC equipment, heat pumps, air conditioning, furnaces and related services * Plumbing installations, repairs and renovations * Handyman, maintenance and general home improvement projects * Multi-trade renovations and projects requiring several Trade Sense divisions *Responsibilities* * Your responsibilities will include: * Meet with residential and commercial customers to discuss their projects and service needs * Attend on-site sales appointments and project consultations * Identify opportunities involving Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Handyman services * Understand the customer's needs and recommend appropriate solutions * Take measurements, photos and detailed job-site notes when required * Develop scopes of work and assist with preparing accurate estimates and proposals * Explain options, pricing and project expectations clearly to customers * Follow up on outstanding estimates and sales opportunities * Build long-term relationships with customers * Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Trade Sense services * Coordinate with our electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, handymen, office staff and management * Maintain accurate records of customer communication and sales activity * Help ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to scheduling and installation * Represent Trade Sense Home Services professionally at all times *Qualifications* * The ideal candidate will have: * Previous sales, estimating, construction or skilled-trades experience * Strong knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and general Handyman work * Ability to confidently communicate with homeowners, contractors and commercial customers * Strong sales and closing skills * Ability to identify additional opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach * Ability to understand job-site conditions and develop an appropriate scope of work * Strong organizational and follow-up skills * Professional appearance and communication skills * Comfortable using computers, email, estimating software and mobile applications * Valid Ontario driver's licence * Ability to travel to customer and project locations throughout our service area Join us as a Sales Consultant where your passion for sales combined with technical expertise will make a real difference!
