Communicate repair findings clearly to customers and report service concerns to management. Document repairs, damage, and parts usage accurately while ensuring proper authorization. Engage in training programs and support junior apprentices in their development. Follow all safety protocols, maintain equipment, and uphold cleanliness in work areas. What you need to be successful: Valid driver’s license and enrollment in the Alberta Appliance Service Technician apprenticeship program. Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances while following safety protocols.
